A scene from the documentary "Athens GA, Inside Out". Seeing this as a teenager was like seeing the Beatles on the Ed Sullivan Show. It just made sense. There were no screaming girls, it was a rehearsal. I think the rehearsal song is "And I Love Her" in "A Hard Days Night"... and there is a bit of Richard Lester in the REM shoot. The suits, the hair. Directed in part by Jim Herbert, who I met at Pratt as an art student. He was in my friend Carter's studio giving an informal crit and I walked by. Carter goes, "Hey this is my friend Jim". And I said hi without any indication that I knew who he was and had his posters on my wall for years.

One of my favorite shows growing up, it was all about solving crimes with science. PBS was really wholesome programming and brain food. And, it was my in to NYC. I was never gonna be one of those Fame kids at LaGuardia but I really enjoyed the Bloodhound gang and their innovation. Why do you they make unnecessary remakes of The Dukes of Hazzard and Starsky and Hutch but not the Bloodhound Gang?
