Went and saw a pretty cool Lego show in Lafayette. While there was a lot of cool Star Wars Lego, including a sleek Vader x Frank Lloyd Wright mashup, the playscale model Buc-ee's stole the show.

My Great Uncle Bill played this record for me at his apartment in Chelsea. He studied piano at Juilliard and had a wicked since of humor. He had seen Mahalia Jackson play in South Baton Rouge. He said he asked Mahalia Jackson's piano player about how to play like that - I forget his answer.

Added a scene reader that reads in the parameters for the scene objects from an external file. This is a pretty basic rendering of a 3x3x3 grid with some color differentiation. What I didn't like about primitive ray tracers is that they don't calculate atmospheric perspective correctly. Atmospheric perspective, in fine arts, is the diminishing in color intensity of objects that are further away. It's caused by light hit particles in the air which diminish the amount of light waves hitting the eye. Hence, an apple a foot away is a much more intense red than an apple one hundred feet away. Something to work on. My conic shapes still aren't there yet.
